The picture of Mickey Mantle was dedicated to Carl Erskine and it said, "To Carl, the greatest W.S. (World Series) pitcher I ever faced. 4K's (strikeouts) - The Mick." Carl Erskine pitched the most dominating game Dr. Bergantino had witnessed against the greatest team, the New York Yankees, who were second only to Babe Ruth's 1927 Yankees.
